I am heartbroken by the photos. I cried like you wouldn't believe when I watched this video. I watch in horror as new photos are posted almost hourly to the internet. The damage is unbelievable and the death toll is rising everyday.

I want to do what I can to help out the tornado victims in Joplin, Missouri.

So, I am offering the following promotion:

From now until June 24, 2011 I am offering family photo sessions for only $75 (50% off).

100% of all session fees will go directly to the Red Cross.

Session Information:

*2 hours of shooting time within Washington and Benton County

*15-30 fully edited images on a disk with personal printing rights

Those are the two words I believe describe this day better than any others.

The weather was awful, but the bride was beautiful. It rained, it poured. The wind blew, and we prayed for clear skies.

We didn't get our clear skies, but nothing....and I do mean nothing could have stolen the happiness from this bride and this groom.

This is only a preview of a select few photos. I very quickly scanned over 2,000 photos and picked out just a handful to edit for this sneak peek. I will be posting more as I edit them, so check back often.

Just For Military Families

I am now offering specials for military families.

There are a few different sessions to choose from.

Pre-Deployment: This session must have a patriotic theme and can take place at any location within Northwest Arkansas. (If you live outside of Northwest Arkansas, please email me at jackiereneephoto at gmail dot com for more information) The service member must be in full uniform, but will have the option to change into casual clothes later. There are no restrictions on the number of family members or the time it takes to complete this session. You will receive 15-30 fully edited images on disk with a copyright release for personal use printing. I will also mail a 4x6 album of your final images directly to your loved one overseas. I am offering this session and the album at no cost to you and your family.

Saying Goodbye: This is a photojournalistic style session documenting your last moments together as you prepare to say goodbye to your loved one. I am available to accompany you to the airport or farewell location. All family members are invited to join this session and there are no restrictions on time. You will receive 15-30 fully edited images on disk with a copyright release for personal use printing. I am offering this session at no cost to you and your family.

During Deployment: This session is for immediate family members only and must have a patriotic theme. It can be held at any location within Northwest Arkansas. (If you live outside of Northwest Arkansas, please email me at jackiereneephoto at gmail dot com for more information) You will receive 15-30 fully edited images on disk with a copyright release for personal use printing. I will also mail a 4x6 album of your final images directly to your loved one overseas. I am offering this session and the album at no cost to you and your family.

Reunion Session: Rather than taking traditional portraits, these photos will be a recording of your first moments back together. I am available to accompany you to the airport or reunion ceremony. You will receive 15-30 fully edited images on disk with a copyright release for personal use printing. You will also receive a complimentary matted and framed 8x10 print of your choosing. I am offering this session at no cost to you and your family. There are no travel fees with this session.

Being apart from a loved one during deployment is one of the hardest things a family can ever experience. I am offering these sessions as a way to say "Thank You" to our military families. They often have very little warning to prepare for deployment and then spend the next months of their lives counting down the days until they are together again. It is an emotional time for everyone involved. I am offering my time at no cost to you in hopes that it may help ease the heartache during this difficult time.

In addition to the sessions above, I am offering any military family a 50% discount all year long, every year. There are no restrictions on this discount and it is good anytime, not just during deployment.

Little Miss B is turning ONE!!

I had so much fun today! This Little Lady is cute as a bug. I have known her Mommy for over 10 years, so needless to say I was rather excited when she asked me to take her daughter's first birthday portraits. She was so good and only cried once the entire time, and that was when she took a tumble off the stool. We had a blast playing with Easter eggs, singing songs, and smashing chocolate birthday cake. She was a bit hesitant as first, but once she figured out what it was all about she dug right in. She was scooping up cake by the handful and loving every minute of it!!!

J-I feel so honored that you asked me to take these photos for you. I can't wait to come back for the party this weekend and see the rest of your family. I love you Woman!!!

A new "Baby Love" package and a trip down South

All new for 2011, I am now offering a Baby Love package for your precious new baby's first year. This package will include a total of 3 sessions. We will begin with a newborn session sometime during the first two weeks home from the hospital, a second session at age 6 months, and then we will finish with a combination portrait/cake smash session. I will provide the cake and you will also receive your favorite photo from each session in an 8x10 print. You will have full use of any of my props or you may bring some of your own. Anything goes. This package is $500 and I require half of this up front to hold your spot on my calendar.

I will be traveling to North Louisiana on March 11-14th and I am offering mini-sessions during my visit. All sessions will take place in either downtown Arcadia or at a private location off Hwy 151. I will be available for travel to Monroe or Shreveport if you need me to come to you. Call or email me with details and we will work something out! Sessions are $75 and will be approximately one hour long. They will include 10-15 fully edited images on a disk with a print release for personal use printing. I am available all day on Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th. If you would like to book a session with me while I am in Louisiana, please email me at
rhombus77 @ gmail (dot) com. I do require a non-refundable $25 deposit to hold your spot. This can be paid by check (email me for my address) or you can send it via Paypal. If you choose to pay with Paypal, I do add on $2.00 for their service charges. The deposit goes toward the total session fee of $75, with the remaining balance due before I begin shooting.

This is the perfect opportunity to get those family portraits done if you didn't have the time before Christmas!! And, anything goes for these dates, as well. I am open to family, couple, engagement, children, and you can even bring the four-legged loved ones, too!! (:

My Family

My son and step-daughter are growing up before my very eyes!!! It seems just like yesterday Jason and I got married and they were 3 and 4 years old. Simply can't believe they are 10 and 11 now. Kendall is all boy, very busy, active, and running circles around his mama. He is up to 5' tall now and wears a whopping size 8 1/2 men's shoe!! He's in the 4th grade in an all boy class and LOVES it. Danielle is in 5th grade and stays super busy riding horses with her mama and doing girl scouts. She is our "quiet child"....she takes after her daddy and likes to sit back and take it all in. She's getting so very tall and BEAUTIFUL!!! I feel so blessed that God has trusted me with raising these kids. Some days I want to pull my hair out, but mostly I just laugh and let it go, cherishing every single minute with them.
